The Relentless Seasessions Expression session will pit the best of Irelands Under 18’s hotshots against the top Irish free surfers.  The competition format will reward big moves rather than tactical surfing with the winner. The expression session will be decided on the best move or best wave depending on conditions. The Winer will get an all expenses paid VIP trip to the Relentless Newquay Boardmasters and a wild card entry to the WQS event. Qicksilver will also be providing spot prizes for the event. The top Irish free surfers will compete against the winners of the Bundoran Boardriders Junior contest. The contest will run on either the saturday or sunday depending on conditions. The festival will also be showing Relentless Powers of three, From the Shadows and Lives of the artists on a 10foot lcd TV. Mickey Smith and Barry Britton will be a few of the top names who will be displaying their art at the festival for anybody else whose art is inspired by the ocean or waves and wants to get involved email seasessionsart@gmail.com .
 
For those who prefer land based extreme sports Relentless are also bring a Mountain Bike/BMX and skate team to one of the biggest outdoor ramps setups seen in Ireland.
 
Animal Relentless Mountain Bike Tour
The legendary Animal Relentless Bike Tour is to perform for the first time in Ireland as part of the Sea Sessions surf and music festival in Bundoran, Donegal. Mixing the incredible mountain bike skills of former World Champion Trials rider Martyn Ashton with the spectacular jumping style of Blake Samson on their customised Mercedes rig. Plus opportunities to win vip Animal and Relentless Tour gear, a Diamond back bike, Muc-off, MBUK posters and much more...this is one event not too miss!

Larry, Ivan & their friend Kevin cycle the world for the Irish Cancer Society

You may know our surf instructors Larry & Ivan who teach mainly in Strandhill but have recently moved to Bundoran.  Well they will be going further afield very soon as they join friend Kevin McHugh and cycle 40,000km around the world for the Irish Cancer Society. 

The lads will be leaving from Ireland on 21^st August and cross 5 continents and 28 countries.  The aim is to complete the fastest circumnavigation of the globe on a bike. We will be keeping you up to date on their adventurous journey but you can also find out more on their website at http://www.endurecyclechallenge.com/  you can also follow them on facebook and twitter.

TurfnSurf Lodge & Surf School are very excited to announce the addition of Sea Kayaking Adventures to our already extensive surfing activities.  We are offering a range of adventures from a “wee paddle around Bundoran Bay” to epic over night trips to Inishmurray Island.  We can also take you on a night paddle, exploring the coastline and its wildlife in an entirely unique way. 

Tours start from €35 per person and include all necessary equipment, fully qualified leaders and refreshments.  Participants meet at TurfnSurf Lodge in Bundoran where they can change in our purpose built facilities with showers etc.

TurfnSurf is a family run business which was established in August 2006 by husband and wife Killian and Mary O’Kelly.  Killian is a born and bred Bundoran man who has spent most of his youth exploring the sea and land of the surrounding area.  He is an avid water sports man and has spent many years as a life guard in the town.  Mary is a originally from the eats coats but moved to Bundoran 4 years ago and has never looked back.  She is involved with the B&B side of the business along with providing support to the surf school.
