On Easter weekend 9 Surfers will attempt to visit as many beaches as possible, in 24hrs of daylight, from Donegal to Mayo and Kerry to Clare. We hope to reach Lahinch beach in Clare by 4 o'clock on Easter Sunday, the 4th of April, and would very much like to see as many people as possible there. We are doing this for the Make A Wish foundation in order to raise as much money as possible for terminally ill children to get their dreams of a lifetime.
As the adventure businesses, surf schools and surf clubs around Ireland we would ask if you could put up our poster to inform your members and customers of the Surfathon event. We would love to see you at Lahinch on the day in support. We would appreciate any donations for the cause be it vouchers or merchandise for the Surf Gear Auction or a cash donation to Make A Wish. It promises to be a great day out for everyone and a good opportunity to get away for a surf weekend.
These children deserve something special and we would appreciate if everyone would join us. A BBQ sponsored by Denny's and a Surf Gear Auction will be held after our final surf on Lahinch. Relentless Energy along with some of Ireland's top surfers are joining us, Fergal Smith, as see in Powers of Three, John McCarthy, seen in the AIB ad, Richie Fitzgerald, star of Waveriders and Easkey Britton, one of Irelands top female surfers. There will be a DJ, live music and after party in Kenny's Bar that evening. Tune into i102-104 and Spin South West for on-going coverage of the Surfathon journey to Lahinch.
If possible please forward this e-mail to to your customers/members and print our poster to put up in your location and surrounding area. Join us to raise money for the dreams of these children.
Your support is greatly appreciated! thank you.
Cheers guys!
Danny, James, Dev, Darran, Russell, Alan, Theo, Kieran and Dobby.
