This surf camp is for those that really want to learn how to surf or simply just love the sea.
The week long camp runs from Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 12:30 and includes safety talks, beach games, water games and lots of surfing.
Surf Camp will take place in 5 locations:
- Bundoran TurfnSurf Lodge
- Streedagh beach Co Sligo
- Strandhill Lodge and surf school
- Rossnowlagh at our new Changing rooms in village centre
- Portnoo/Ardara in front of lifeguard hut
Each lesson covers the following:
- Safety talks
- Wetsuits and soft foam softboards are provided
- Raft building and beach games
- Pro surfing competition on Friday
- All surf lessons are run by Irish Surfing Association approved instructors.
- Instructors have a beach lifeguard qualification and child protection course
- All staff have beach lifeguards awards, safety training and are very familiar with the local beaches.
- We mix up our surf lessons with a variety of games in the water and on the beach depending on the kids.
- We teach our surf lessons with foam boards with soft fins so your kids are in safe hands.
All participants are recommended to bring towel, swimming suits and sandals.
For ages 8 to 16.
