Learn to surf by joining us for surf lessons in beautiful Bundoran on Donegal Bay and learn something new and exciting. Experience the great outdoors of Donegal and Sligo and get fit at the same time. But most importantly you'll have great fun and meet great people.
We conduct our surf lessons on various beaches in the local area including; Tullan Strand, Bundoran Main Beach, Rossnowlagh, Streedagh, Mullaghmore and Strandhill. We provide transport in our mini buses to and from these surf spots.
At TurfnSurf Surf School we pride ourselves on our professional approach. The instructor will be in the water with you giving sound advice and tips on improving your surfing skills. After the surf lesson join us in the Lodge for a hot tea/coffee biscuits and a chat with your new found friends from the surf lesson. The surf lesson includes all equipment and transport so all you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel. During the winter months we provide boots, gloves and hoods for you comfort.
Our Instructors
Our surf instructors are accredited with the Irish Surfing Association (ISA) and British Surfing Association (BSA). The principal instructor is that runs the Surf School is Killian O'Kelly, a born and bred in Bundoran man with many years experience life guarding & surfing local and international waves. Types of Surf Lessons
We offer surf lessons for all group sizes from the individual up to 50 people. But we also offer a range of tailored and specialised surf packages and we are always offering innovative packages. Some of our current packages are as follows:
Advanced Surf Coaching: - These courses are aimed at intermediate surfers who have been surfing for some time by themselves but would like to progress to the next level.
Kids Surf Camps: - In May and September we run after school surf camps only for U18s and in the summer months, we run week long camps in Rossnowlagh, Bundoran and Streedagh in Sligo and do pick up and drop off.
Group and Corporate Outings: - A surfing weekend is a great way to go away for a weekend with your friends or colleagues. We video your group surfing and TurfnSurf is right in the centre of Bundoran so you are close to all the night life.
Yoga and Surfing: - Yoga and Surfing are an ideal combination for a healthy weekend away where you can enjoy all that Yoga as to offer and learn to surf at the same time. In conjunction with Yogarani, we offer Ireland's only Yoga and Surfing weekend.
Surf Trips: - For the more experienced surfer that wants to explore the coast of Ireland in search of the less crowded but equally good waves, we organise guided trips.
