 | Hailing from the Highlands of Scotland, I moved to Bundoran where surfing quickly became a natural progression. Now teaching for 2 years, and getting paid for it, I reckon that it must be one of the best jobs in the world! Were else will a Scottish lassie teach you to surf, but on the west coast of Ireland! |
Patrick O'Donnell (aka Po)

 | Patrick O'Donnell, otherwise known as Po learned to surf on the main beach in Bundoran as a 12 year old. His love of waves was born years earlier when his parents bought him his first foam boogie board and sent him to the beach. He has never looked back since and has surfed in such exotic locations as Japan, Australia, Indonesia, South Africa, Barbados, Mexico and Leitrim. Po is looking forward to retiring and enjoying the sense of weightlessness that space travel with Killian and Tony will bring (it'll be good for his knees) |

 | Killian O'Kelly progressed from jumping off the rocks at Roughey to surfing the waves outside his front door on the Donegal/Leitrim border. Killian has surfed all over the world in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, South Africa, South America and Mongolia but has now returned home and settled down to his favourite view of the Peak from Turfnsurf Lodge and Surf School. Ultimately he hopes to travel to retire to the moon with Po and Tony. |

 | Liam met Killian and Po while surfing a secluded wave in Indonesia. All three proceeded to Australia where they spent a year traveling the coast & playing Risk. Ever since then Liam has been a constant feature on the reefs of Bundoran and is as dedicated a surfer as you will find. Liam also doubles up as our Environmental Officer and makes sure the management at TurfnSurf abide by his policies. |
Richie Fitzgerald

 | TurfnSurf offer advanced surf coaching and Richie is our specialist coach for these courses. The star of the film Wave Riders, which won the Dublin International Film Festival in 2008, Richie has surfed just about everywhere in the world but still rips up his home break The Peak just as much as anybody. Despite having an encyclopaedic knowledge of surfing, Richie can also hold his own in conversations on anything from the American Civil War to Particle Physics. However, mostly he likes to talk about Bundoran and relishes the chance to sit and have a natter with the over 60 women of Bundoran who are the true champions of yapping! |

 | Ciaran, also known as Knowledge due to his propensity for sharing an interesting fact a day with you originates from Kildoney on the other side of Bundoran Bay. His dad Barry, a well known local water sports enthusiast left both his kids no choice when it came to learning at least one water sport. They both took surfing and thanks to him he now teaches our customers at the highest standard. Ciaran learned to surf between Rosnowlagh and Tullan. He has traveled to places like France, Spain, California, Australia, Mexico and Italy but now lives on the west end of Bundoran and can be seen surfing some of Europe's best waves, right on his door step!! Ps:- When you meet him, ask him why a radiator shouldn't be called a radiator. |
Eoin Murphy

 | Former Junior Irish Surf Champ Eoin joined the TurfnSurf team last summer. Eoin lives a stone's throw away from Tullan Strand and is a constant feature ripping up the lefts of Bundoran no matter what the conditions are nor how much homework he has to do. |

 | Ivan took a turn onto the N3 in his native county Meath and kept going until he ended up in Bundoran. Despite being a proficient surfer we have yet to knock the bogger, farmer out of him and he persists with walking like he's John Wayne wearing wellies. However, we still love him. In particular himself & Mary (wife of Killian & also from the Royal County) like to discuss the weird eccentricities of the natives. One of which is walking into everyones house without as much as a knock & then proceeding to the biscuit tin to eat all their provisions (this is basic Sham behaviour). |

 | Eoin is from Ballyshannon sham town and joins us as part of a government funded scheme to help Shams from Sham-town to see the world. When not surfing he is studying Environmental Protection in Sligo town. Eoin is a powerful surfer and great instructor. However, don't be fooled by the innocent exterior and those big brown eyes.....this man is a lady killer! |

 | Larry hails from Mullingar in the middle of bogland Westmeath. A few years ago he realised that there is far better swell on the north-west coast than on the lakelands of his home county and arrived on the door step of TurfnSurf eager to learn more about this surfing lark! Larry is an educated type of fella and did have some reservations about throwing his lot in with us wild north-west types but thankfully, he now feels he's made the right decision. He no longer disturbs the lonesome fishermen on the waters of the midlands with his ridiculous 360 airs. Instead he now likes to drop in all over the local shams and show them how we do it, Mullingar style-rough like!
He dreams of some day being a Sham, not just any auld Sham, a Shamrider.

 | Ryan, sometimes operating under the alias "Goldbloom", recently escaped from America where he was living a semi-nomadic lifestyle selling Maple Syrup and Wooly Jumpers at fairs around the East Coast. Finally, arriving at the tourist mecca of Ballyshannon, Bloomers was close to the source. The following week saw Ryan surfing a remote and highly secretive spot know only to locals as "the peak" where he met one Gary Doherty in the water. Thus the shamriders came to know Goldbloom. |
