Activities - Yoga and Surf Retreat           

About the Retreat

This is a Surf and Yoga retreat designed to get your body moving, get you out in nature and leave you feeling happy and refreshed. The retreat is open to everyone - beginner and advanced Yogi’s and surfers will be catered for. Expect to soak up all Bundoran has to offer, meet a group of fun, like-minded individuals, and leave feeling energised and rejuvenated.

Yoga & Surfing are the perfect combination. Yoga is a great way to work on the strength, balance and co-ordination required for surfing. Like surfing it’s an excellent way to switch off the mind and always leaves you feeling calm, centred and relaxed. Surfing is fun and always an exhilarating experience. Beginners will learn how to surf and those with more experience can work on improving with our experienced surf coaches.

During your two day stay you will take part in four yoga sessions, two surf lessons, enjoy wholesome breakfasts & enjoy a group dinner. You can hop on our TurfnSurf Tour bus in Dublin City Centre and bring you direct to Bundoran; returning you back to Dublin on Sunday evening. Accommodation is in shared rooms, with all rooms ensuite. If you are coming on your own we will match you with a roommate for the weekend. If you are coming with a friend please let us know and we will organise your accommodation together.


About Yoga

The Yoga classes are taught by Kate who will make the classes fun but challenging. Classes are open to everyone - whether it’s your first ever yoga class or you have a regular practice. Each class will work to centre the mind and get you ready for surfing or help you recover afterwards.


About Kate

Kate teaches Yoga, Pilates and Barre classes in MyWellbeing studio Dublin 2. Kate is passionate about moving well and the connection between movement, the mind and the body. Building strength as well as flexibility will be a focus for each class. Expect to work hard, be challenged in new ways and to leave class with a smile.

Friday
21:30pm: Arrival, check in & herbal tea
21:45pm: Slow Flow - a slow gentle yoga practice designed to stretch tired bodies and prepare for a great night’s sleep.


Saturday
9.00am:Pre-surf Yoga - a fun, energising Yoga flow designed to prepare the body for surfing.
10.15am: Breakfast - a healthy breakfast to prepare you for your surf.
11.00am: Surf Lesson
2.30 - 5.00pm: Free time to nap, explore Bundoran,chill out and eat!
5.00pm: Yoga Flow - a yoga class designed to soothe any aches and pains, re-energise the body and leave you feeling good.
7.30pm: Dinner at Maddens Bridge Bar (included)


Sunday
9.00am: Pre-surf Yoga - a fun, energising Yoga flow designed to prepare the body for surfing.
10.15am: Breakfast - a healthy breakfast to prepare you for your surf.
11.00am: Surf Lesson
3.00pm: Check out and depart
